The Portal may offer functionalities for sharing content via third party applications such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. These applications, or social networks, may collect and process information related to the user’s browsing through the different websites. Any personal information that is collected through these applications, can be used by third party users, with their interactions being subject to the privacy policies of the companies that provide such applications.
The Portal can host blogs, forums, and other applications or social networking services with the aim of facilitating the exchange of knowledge and content. Any personal information provided by the user can be shared with other users from said service, over which FUNIBER has no control of.
In order to provide information or services that may be of interest depending on the user’s location, FUNIBER may be able to access data relating to the user device’s geolocation in those cases where the user settings allow it to.
For the purposes of technical safety and the diagnostic of systems, in an anonymous or aggregated manner, FUNIBER may register the IP address (the identification number for the device’s Internet access, which allows devices, systems and servers to recognize and communicate with each other). Such information may also be used for the analytical purposes of web performance.

FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE USE THE USER’S PERSONAL INFORMATION?
FUNIBER uses the information provided by the user to meet the various kinds of requests carried out by them. Depending on the nature of the request, the purpose will pursue to:
- Manage the register as a user of the Platform: The Personal Information provided to us will be used to identify the user of the Platform and provide them with access to its different features, products, and services available to them as a registered user.
- Contact the user via e-mail, phone calls, SMS or other equivalent electronic means of communication, in relation to informational updates or communications related to the features, products or services, including security updates of the Platform, whenever necessary, or when reasonable for its implementation.
- Address requests or claims by the user through the Customer Service channels available in our Platform or Physical Stores, if any.
- Manage the Curriculums Vitae submitted via the Portal.
- Participation in blogs, through comments.
- Communication through the ethical line or Whistle-blowingHotline, (v) surveys.
- Electronic communications of an informative or advertising nature on our products or services according to their interests.
FUNIBER may develop a commercial profile, based on the information provided. Automated decisions will not be carried out based on said profile.
If the user is registered to the Portal through a social login, FUNIBER will only have access to the user’s personal information for which they have given their consent during the social network access configuration. Any information provided in connection with such social applications could be accessed by members of the corresponding social network, with said interactions governed by the privacy policies of the service providers. FUNIBER has no control or responsibility with respect to such entities or the use they make of the user’s information.
INFORMATION REGARDING THE USE OF INFORMATION FOR SENDING COMMUNICATIONS FROM FUNIBER
The information used, or facilitated, for informational and/or promotional communications are used by FUNIBER for any purpose consistent with the electronic delivery of information and communication services, activities, publications from FUNIBER, the monitoring and optimization of marketing campaigns through technologies to such an effect; and the development of profiles for commercial purposes.
Consent for sending such communications may be revoked at any time for each of the communications received through the mechanism enabled for such an effect.

HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN THE USER’S PERSONAL INFORMATION?
In general, any personal information provided shall be kept only for the time that is necessary for addressing the user’s request or as long as its deletion is not requested by the user, notwithstanding to the 5 or 10 year period of limitation of actions of responsibility arising out of a contractual relationship as set out in article 1964 of the Civil Code and the Catalonia Civil Code of 121-20, respectively, in accordance to how each one would apply. WHO WILL WE COMMUNICATE THE USER’S PERSONAL INFORMATION TO?
FUNIBER is supported by various service providers to be able to offer the previously mentioned products or services, such as storage and computing services. It is for this reason that we will proceed to communicate your information whenever necessary to fulfill the purposes as referred to in the present Information Protection Policy.
