The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) has been actively collaborating in the implementation of the CYTED Training Seminars on “Food Security in Latin America: from Epidemiology to the Biochemistry of the Processes Involved in the Foodborne Diseases”.
This event, held between the 7th and 11th November 2009, with a duration of 35 hours, provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences on various topics related to the food security within a specific space as is the Latin American and in the context of an international problem with the clear aim of improving the health conditions of the people and of the population.
The event was organized within the framework of activities of the CYTED. FUNIBER contributed human resources and logistical support to this event.
